If you're looking for a pedestrian but true sparkling wine for under $10, this Chenin Blanc-based bubbly from Argentina is solid, a touch yeasty and dry. It tastes much like a Loire Valley sparkler, with baked apple, apricot and peach pit flavors. On the negative side, it's fairly foamy across the tongue and doesn't have a top-grade mouthfeel.
