A little gassy and sulfuric upon first blush, but airing scares the funk away, leaving deep black-fruit scents and mineral. In the mouth, it's a saturated softy with black cherry, coffee and chocolate flavors. And it unwinds in several stages on the finish, which indicates complexity and layering. With mild tannins, it's a good one to drink now and over the next few years.
