This expression of Nero d'Avola paints a rosy picture of the future of this indigenous variety and Sicilian winemaking in general. Aged in large casks and cement, this is elegant and fine, with an extremely polished texture. The finish is marked by a note of dried berry fruit, plus warm, earthy tones of leather and dried spice.
