Syrupy and strange, with a lactic palate feel and cloying cherry fruit. Finishes bitter as well as candied. || Tannat by nature is a hard, brooding grape, and this version from northern Argentina's Salta region is funky, with olive, horse hide and plenty of dark-fruit aromas and flavors.
