Lemon peel and citrus aromas are the proper foreshadowing of what's to come: a tart, lean, old-style wine that is ultimately lean and grabby. These days you have to give the consumer more richness and flavor than this. || A little leafy, a little spicy and a little bit of a throwback to the days when Rioja wasn't taken so seriously.
