Dense and firm, dark plum fruits and tight tannins frame this wine against its fruits and spice flavors. Although it is not a heavyweight, the intensity of flavors more than compensates. || Rather smoky, almost burnt oakiness obscures the fruit on the nose: That black cherry has to struggle to be heard. The palate, however, is smooth and tinges the cherry fruit with lots of cinnamon spice.
