A brambly, still-quite tannic 80% Petite Sirah with 20% Syrah that's full of dark plum and cherry jam flavors and a thread of coffee throughout that gets pleasantly perfumey over time. || This is a blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, all grown in the Foothills. It's tannic at first, with a mélange of clove and cinnamon spice, then blossoms into a lightly stated, red-fruit-driven wine with big shoulders. A trace of coffee lingers in the background.
