This is a particular style of barrel-aged Verdejo that displays aromas of cured ham, fennel and not much fruit. This has creamy weight on the palate. Flavors of oily white fruits, nuts and charcuterie finish in a blaze of funky flavors, texture and residual oak. This heavyweight white isn't for everyone and it's by no means a mainstream rendition of Verdejo.
