The brand, from Terlato, has produced nonvintage wines of good varietal character, at every price level, for years. Their newest Pinot breaks the normal practice with its vintage designation. It's a decent wine, showing the silky mouthfeel, brisk acidity and cherry, raspberry and cola flavors that testify to a cool-climate origin.
