This kitchen-sink blend of Merlot, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Cabernet Franc proves more herbaceous than ripe on the nose, with dried and chopped oregano and thyme, wet slate and cigar box notes. It's all earth and stone on the palate, with just a touch of stark plum fruit emerging.
