This is an interesting Chardonnay for what it's not: not a blockbuster in terms of fruit, not overwhelming in oak, not an overly sweet puppy, not cheesy and thick from massive lees contact. Instead, it's balanced, one might almost say refined. Don't look for nuances, just enjoy it for what it is. || Earthy aromas of bark and mulch, plus a hint of blackberry, turn sweet in the mouth.
