The smoky aroma and toasty wood character smothers the fruit. It is a tough wine at this stage although it does hint at some of the 2012 juicy fruit flavors. Drink this firm, solid wine from 2018. || A mint- and spice-flavored wine, this has concentrated tannins that structure the black plum and berry fruits. The flavors are rich, and the dense texture promises several years of aging.
