Marchesi di Barolo delivers a rich, concentrated expression from the Serragrilli cru with mature cherry and candied fruit aromas along with bright nuances of Spanish cedar, barbecue spice and cigar box. The wine is astringent at this young age, but has the pulp and heft for a long aging future. Drink after 2017.
