This is 95% Syrah, co-fermented with Viognier in the Northern Rhône style. The result is a very fine wine that is currently drinking quite young and tight. It's shut down in hard tannins and an immature reticence of fruit, although you can detect some ripe, delicious blackberries, plums, currants and dark chocolate. Give it 5–6 years in a good cellar.
