This is a new brand from Jess Jackson. The wine is quite interesting—absolutely dry, very tannic, acidic and austere, with a bitterness to the cherryskin flavors. Yet it possesses polish and elegance. Work is needed, but this is a Merlot to watch. || Like many of Jess Jackson's high mountain Cabs, this is extremely tannic and dry, at least by Napa standards.
