This is one of the few Zinfandels with a Rutherford appellation. It's quite a good wine, deliciously easy to drink with its creamy texture and dry, soft flavors of blackberries, currants, chocolate and licorice, made all the more zesty with peppery spices. Great job by veteran winemaker Scott McLeod. From Francis Ford Coppola and Rubicon.
