For lovers of dense, firmly tannic and rich Malbec, this is pure pleasure indeed. It is a powerful wine, packed with dark, brooding fruits, leavened by a hint of mint and smoky acidity. The wine shows power, but doesn't get carried away. Age for 4–5 years. || There is a danger that the otherwise fine wines of Daniel Fournié are becoming excessively alcoholic.
