Deep blackberry fruit and salt-and-pepper spice is brushed with warm washes of clove, cardamom and dried ginger on the savory nose of this bottling named after Ruben “The Grape Whisperer” Solorzano. The palate starts with a burnt coffee touch, set against fine-grained tannins that are structural but soft, and then come cassis, cola spice and black-cherry-liqueur flavors.
