This ripe-feeling wine is packed with yellow fruits that give a rounded texture. The rich fruits are also cut with acidity that has a steely, crisp edge, and a chalky texture. It's a wine to age, so drink from 2017. || Typically Meursault with its fat fruit and texture, this is a wine that doesn't yet quite integrate. The problem is the excessive wood, which dominates the fruit, and gives tense acidity to the wine. It leaves intense spiciness, burnt toast flavors and a bitter, grapefruit flavor on the finish.
