This heavily charred blend of five grapes opens with maple, toast, wood and floral black-fruit aromas. The palate is full and forward but also alert and juicy. Flavors of blueberry, blackberry, licorice, chocolate and vanilla finish oaky, with a final dose of barrel-driven vanilla matching full black fruit. Drink through 2020.
