The bouquet is fairly exotic as it kicks up some cinnamon and forest floor. But there's also some lemony oak that doesn't really fit in. The flavors of cherry and cassis are tasty but they carry an acidic tang, and that aggressive acidity continues all the way through to the back end, thus leaving a sharp impression on the palate.
