Over all, this is a beautifully balanced wine although it must be said that the oak tones are still a bit evident and will no doubt disappear with time. It's rich and opulent with silky tannins and a very long-lasting, almost spicy finish. The wine is cast in an international style with 10% Merlot and Cab Sauvignon added to the Chianti Classico blend.
