Bold and powerful, marked by assertive toasty, cedary aromas from oak, it has a deep color, tight tannins and full body. It shows smoky oak character and almost drying tannins, but the dark cherry and blackberry flavors lie just under the surface, forming the density of an outstanding wine. Drink after 2016.
