A blend of cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc, this Red Mountain red suffers from an excess of high-toned, volatile aromas and rough, untamed tannins. The grapes sources are solid but there are too many raw, unpolished edges; it doesn't quite pull itself together. || Using grapes sourced from a Red Mountain vineyard, this pure Cabernet seems to have been overripened.
