Clean and dry, but unbalanced, with raisin skin tannins that make the wine feel harsh and astringent. The addition of Viognier to the Syrah adds citrusy acids to the black currants. Needs greater richness. || Very soft and light-bodied, almost without tannins, this gentle wine has flavors of cherries, chocolate, orange zest, anise and vanilla.
