The Encruzado, grown almost exclusively in the Dão is one of Portugal's unsung great grapes. This wine—perfumed, steely and mineral—really brings out the granite soil of the region. It's tight, taut and packed with acidity as well as hints of yellow fruits. Drink from late 2016.
