Sangiovese still isn't a major varietal in California but wines like this push it a notch in that direction. You'll like the pretty berry flavors, integrity of tannins and acidity and rich, dry finish. It's a terrific food wine. You might find yourself reaching for a third glass of this pretty wine over that luxury Cabernet.
