Rich and oaky, this has bigtime flavors of blackberry and blueberry jam, milk chocolate and exotic spice. Made in the modern cult style, it's certainly sweet and flashy, yet lacks structural integrity. || Petit Verdot is a hard variety to successfully make on its own. Although this has intense flavors of blackberries, black currants and dark chocolate, there's not much beyond the seemingly sweet flavors. The high alcohol lends this a Port-like heat.
