Rich in color and aromas; the nose pushes soothing, fragrant dark-fruit aromas that carry a touch of perfume and violets. In the mouth, the wine is only moderately rich. With full acids and zest, it's not as hefty as many modern Riojas. Still, it's a well-executed Tempranillo with ample oak and good mouthfeel.
