Overtly, overwhelmingly oaky, a shot at the international style, this red from the hot region of Priorat just doesn't go anywhere beyond the wood. From stem to stern, the coconut-toasty oak renders all other elements subservient to an extent that grape and location are rendered irrelevant. —M.M.
