This balanced, ripe and full-bodied wine has good concentration and fine tannins that come from the wood aging and the juicy black fruit. It's an impressive wine, for aging 4–6 years. || Bitter extraction hinders this wine. It does have some attractive fruitiness in the background, but it's lost amidst all the toughness. The rigid edge will soften, although the wine's fruitiness may well never materialize.
