There is a grace and power to this wine that is quite fascinating and refreshing in a world of bruising, jammy fruit bombs. Fruit flavors of plum and blueberry and cassis segue smoothly into herbal and meat flavors, then nicely rounded tannins. There are no rough edges here, but a complex wine that glides through layers of spice, fruit, earth and barrel flavors with confidence and style.
