This Sangiovese seems older than it is because of the hard candy, mineral and brambly notes that offset its aromas of dark chocolate and sweet spice. A tiny hint of apple cider gives the wine piquancy and bite but otherwise it remains a deep, full wine with no overtly sharp edges. || Aromas of mature fruit, blackberry, leather, cigar, molasses and stewy herbal greens.
