Expect a fair amount of forward, creamy oak and you'll be just fine digging into this rich, healthy Malbec (with some Cabernet Franc). Intense blackberry, black cherry and chocolate flavors bring a smile even if they don't seem that complex. But on further thought, this wine is about hedonistic richness, barrel notes and pleasure as opposed to stirring things up intellectually.
