Short on berries and jam and heavily oaked, thus fruit plays second fiddle to oak spice, spearmint and hard cinnamon on the nose. The palate is on the brambly side, while the finish is fairly long and a bit leathery. Has body and size but lacks the fine points. || Opens with standard cherry/berry aromas, although with airing cheese notes and dill enter the picture.
