The Westhofener, one of Wittmann's more accessibly priced offerings, has the same electric acidity and bold, linear steel-and-lime strokes as its higher priced siblings. It's a lighter, more delicate wine, however, with crushed mineral tones and tart citrus flavors that fall on the palate in a gossamer haze.
