One of the Uco Valley's highest vineyards has produced an awkward, funky, clunky Chardonnay with butterscotch, mustard and heavy oak aromas. Flavors of mustard and barrel resin follow the nose, while this finishes with pickled notes, a pinched mouthfeel and a sense of skins. Salentein needs to reassess this wine, which is new to its lineup.
