This is made from 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, with the balance Merlot and Cabernet Franc, all aged 22 months in half new French oak. It's brooding, with notes of dark chocolate, cherry and herbs. It shows more direct tannic heft than often seen at this site and will benefit from some time in the cellar.
