Opens with sweet berry and plum aromas and later there's earthy heft. The palate is big, acidic and fruity, with bold, stretched-out berry flavors. Finishes with a touch of bitterness and rubber, but overall it's a perfectly solid, grapey, tightly wound wine. || Berry and plum aromas come with hints of smoke and asphalt.
