This sparkling blend (50-50 Chardonnay and Pinot Nero) represents one of only a handful of barrel aged metodo classico wines from Friuli in northeast Italy. The wine's perlage is firm and steely and there are soft layers of toasted bread, stone fruit and honey at the back.
