As in earlier vintages, this is three quarters Cabernet, one quarter Merlot, from McClellan Estate, Lewis and Seven Hills fruit. You will find a clear and varietal flavor mix of cassis, herb and bark, with some spice and chocolate accents from barrel aging in half-new French oak. Good balance and persistence.
