Donatella Cinelli Colombini's wines are usually among our high scoring Brunellos, but we were less satisfied with the 2004 vintage. It opens with heavy aromas of leather and tobacco and tastes raw and chewy in the mouth. Then, there's a blast of sour cherry on the close.
