Rusty in color but deep and complex in nature, this varietal Tannat dessert wine is jammy-smelling but tight and piercing on the nose. A thick, chewy palate is braced by good acidity, while flavors of licorice, kirsch, blackberry and burnt caramel finish long and intense, with additional notes of chocolate and raisin.
