This wine teeters between superripe (bold black cherries) and overripe (raisined and browning black cherries) on the nose, but comes out very good in the end. It's full bodied and richly textured, with pretty notes of lavender and thyme accenting black cherry flavors and a long velvety finish. Drink it over the next several months.
