This is a 100% varietal wine, aged nearly two years in 75% new French oak and treated like a king. It responds in kind, rewarding the palate with smoothly voluptuous characteristics of red currant, anise and clove, its tannin and oak supportive and integrated and its finish lengthy. This wine should have years to go in the cellar; drink now through 2023.
