Made with 98% Sangiovese and 2% Ancellotta, this has aromas of black-skinned berry, baking spice and a whiff of new leather. The concentrated palate delivers blackberry jam, toasted oak, roasted coffee bean and a hint of licorice framed in fine-grained tannins. You'll also notice the heat of evident alcohol.
