This blend of the two Cabernets is, in a word, delicious. It's rich in blackberries, cherries and raspberries, but is no mere fruit bomb. The tannins are firm and fine, the acidity is bright, and for all the sweetness, the finish is dry. At the age of five years or so, the wine has achieved a mellowness that makes it good for drinking now.
