This vibrant blend of 90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo and 5% Merlot opens with an intense fragrance of violet, lilac and raspberries accented with whiffs of orange peel and sandalwood. Juicy black cherry, black plum, white pepper and cinnamon-spice take center stage on the palate alongside a firm, tannic backbone. Already delicious, hold for complexity. Drink through 2018.
