Virginia's 2010 harvest brought intense heat and little rain, making for many ripe, powerful wines, such as this Cabernet Franc. Aromas of blackberry cobbler, jammy blueberry, caramel and vanilla lead to a medium- to full-bodied palate that bears muscular tannins and lush acids. This is a big boy in terms of alcohol, clocking in at 15.8%, which makes for a warm finish.
