Black plum, mulberry, clove and lava rock-like minerality show on the ripe and rounded nose of this bottling from a Paso Robles-based winery. The flavors are fairly reserved at this stage, the focus on its firm structure, but tart plum-skin, thyme, marjoram and cardamom touches will emerge with time.
